Kicking Your Body Into Shape!

Kick boxing is an awesome and fun way to get in shape, just in time for the summer. This workout activity provides the whole package for your body’s wellbeing. Cardio kick boxing is a very intensive work-out that tones, builds muscle, and melts fat. Kick boxing includes stretching, punching, kicking and core exercises. This style of exercise can be intimidating due to its intensity. The average class time lasts for an hour. When taken seriously the rewards are worth it.
Taking kick boxing classes three to four times a week offers many health benefits such as reducing stress, diffusing anger and alleviating frustration. After the second or third class a person may start to feel rejuvenated and less stressed. The next time you're finished working out, you'll probably notice that you feel better than when you first started! One of the reasons why you may feel this way is because while exercising our bodies release a hormones called endorphins into our blood stream which puts us in a better mood. Stress plays a major factor in our health and well-being, and if a person does not have some sort of stress reliever, the body could potentially start to break down, which in return, could possibly lead to a variety of health issues.

Stress can destroy you if you let it. Modern life here in Duluth and Atlanta is fast paced and full of stress potential! That’s why exercising regularly helps more than just our physical health but our mental health as well. That’s why activities such as Kickboxing, Martial arts, running or anything that keeps our heart rate up and our body in motion, is beneficial to our health and the longevity of our bodies. Remember to do things like: using the steps instead of the elevator, stretch during commercials or take a walk around the neighborhood. Whichever you choose make sure to have fun with it and be safe!
